Rescale Announces New Pricing Options
At Rescale, we work hard to provide the most cost-efficient solutions for your simulation needs. Working together with our customers, we developed new pricing tiers that allow us to pass along significant cost savings for specific types of simulation workloads. We are excited to announce that these new pricing tiers are now available.
Low Priority
The new Low Priority tier allows users to run and queue jobs that are cost sensitive but not as urgent as other simulations. Then, when we are able to access short-term, lower-cost infrastructure capacity, we pass along these savings to you. Low Priority prices are 50% off the standard hourly rates.

A stoplight system will indicate the availability of running your simulation at a low priority based on your specific job and cluster configuration:
- Green – Capacity available, job will likely run soon
- Yellow – Capacity currently unavailable, likely to become available within a week; job will queue until green
- Red – Capacity currently unavailable, unlikely to become available within a week; job will queue until green
Note that we cannot provide any predictability on when a job might start running. However, when a job is queued, we always provide users the option to run it immediately at our On Demand prices with a single click. Prepaid
As you scale up your Rescale usage, there may be a base level of capacity that is highly predictable and stable. The Prepaid option allows users to receive a significant discount off the On Demand price. Since we provide this capacity for you longer term, we do require the full payment up front. 3-year Prepaid prices are as follows (1-year is also available):
