The COVID-19 global pandemic has affected all of our daily lives. Rescale is committed to the health and safety of our employees, customers, partners, and the broader community. We are following the recommendations of both the WHO and CDC, as well as local authorities in limiting the travel and physical interactions of our employees.
First, we want to assure you that our business continues to operate with our staff working remotely. We are taking every precaution in an effort to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and provide uninterrupted service for all of our customers and partners.
Second, we have joined the fight against this global pandemic and race for a vaccine by launching our Tech Against Covid program, together with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure. In this program, we aid researchers and scientists in their mission to create new testing methods, treatments, and vaccinations by providing access to the Rescale platform and securing several million dollars worth of donated compute credits. We have created an internal response team to proactively identify and deploy these resources around the world where cloud HPC can accelerate progress in fighting the disease.
Third, we have rapidly deployed some resources to help provide assistance to teams that might be displaced by COVID-19. We have extended our support coverage, and made available several accommodations to help teams with limited access to their on-prem resources. We have already helped migrate priority workflows, extended hosted licences from our ISV partners, and extended service expiration dates to help teams get back on their feet.
