Managing high volumes of simulations is now easier with Workspace Folders. Workspace Folders provide a true hierarchical structure for your entire project lifecycle, allowing you to organize your work in a way that mirrors your real-world engineering teams and programs.

  • Structure: Create nested folders to organize work by department, project phase, or team.
  • Bulk Management: Select multiple resources in a folder to perform actions such as tagging, archiving, or moving to a different folder with a single action. Share folders directly with users or groups to bulk share resources.
  • Collaboration: Share entire folder structures with specific users or your whole workspace with granular permissions.

Rescale Data Intelligence: Insights At Your Fingertips

Rescale Data Intelligence transforms raw simulation outputs into actionable engineering assets. Instead of searching through thousands of unnamed files, the new interface allows you to treat your data as a strategic resource.

Switching to the new UI

What’s happening to the classic UI? 

While moving to a unified experience, users can temporarily switch back to the Classic UI via the sidebar toggle. However, we strongly encourage staying in the new experience to familiarize yourself with navigation and utilize exclusive features like Workspace Folders and AI Physics. The Classic UI is scheduled for sunset later this year.

How do Workspace Folders work with my existing tags?

Resource Tagging remains an important part of the Rescale platform, and it isn’t changing. While Workspace Folders provide a structural hierarchy to organize your work, tags remain fully active and searchable across all folders. You can continue to use tags for cross-functional categorization and metadata management.
