Consumable software licenses that are available in addition to (but rarely in lieu of) ANSYS standard software lease and paid-up licensing. AEUs are bought in bulk, then consumed by the hour, depending on the type of applicaiton used. AEUs allow customers to access a wide variety of applications, unlike standard software licensing. ANSYS Account Managers must approve use of AEUs within an account before a customer is able to purchase.
