Overview of ANSYS on Rescale
Simulation Driven Product Development
Ansys has a suite of engineering simulation tools, ranging from FEA, CFD, to EDA.
Batch mode is commonly utilized for High Performance Computing (HPCHPC stands for High-Performance Computing. It refers to the ...). Batch mode executes the software without a Graphical User Interface (GUI) and communication with the program is usually done through a Command Line Interface (CLI)A command-line interface (CLI) is a method of interacting wi....
Running in batch on Rescale allows you to scale up your compute much more effectively. Firstly, you can utilize a large number of cores for your compute, and choose from a wide range of hardware. You are no longer limited by the hardware of your local workstation. Secondly, by submitting multiple jobs on Rescale in parallel, you are able to run many simulations concurrently instead of getting stuck on a queue.
When running in batch on Rescale, you are also able to leverage some of our other advanced features, such as output post-processing, DOEs, graphing tools, and cloud file management.
Rescale currently supports the following software in batch:
Please follow the tutorials below on running ANSYS in batch on the Rescale ScaleX platform.
ANSYS has a feature called Remote Solve Manager (RSM) that enables you to submit your simulation to a remote cluster straight from the GUI application on the desktop.
Please follow the tutorials below on submitting your jobs through RSM onto the Rescale ScaleX platform.
The ANSYS Workbench platform is the backbone for delivering a comprehensive and integrated simulation system to our customers. Using Workbench for your product development simulations will result in higher productivity from integrated applications leveraging common and compatible data models. Workbench gives you access to multiphysics and systems level insights that could not be attained before.
Workbench is equipped with RSM integration as well, therefore you can submit Fluent, CFX, and Mechanical simulations to cloud hardware on Rescale. Using Rescale In-Browser Desktops to open/set-up your workbench project and submit your simulations directly to Rescale clusters.
Please follow the tutorials below on submitting your jobs from Workbench onto the Rescale ScaleX platform.
