Michael Eidell
Principal Engineer
Michael received his Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics from Stockton University and a graduate degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia focusing on Computational Fluid Dynamics modeling of supersonic combustion. His experience includes roles at Corvid Technologies and GE Aviation as an engineer. In 2020 he joined Kinetic Vision to pursue his passion of working directly with advanced technologies in CFD, Computer Vision, and Physics-Informed Neural Networks.
Nicolin Govender
Principal Scientist
Prof Nicolin Govender is a principal scientist at Mondelez International in the position of global lead for granular materials and physics based digital twins. He is a visiting professor at the university of Johannesburg in the area of 4IR in addition to having an association at CERN where he advises on the use of GPU computing for High Energy physics. His seminal contribution has been the area of computational mechanics developing a GPU-based code (Blaze-DEM) that made possible simulations of granular materials using polyhedral particles in an industrial context. He has held multiple grants from NVIDIA, EU Commission, SNCF, and the DOE (Utah) to name a few.
Karl Podesta
Technical Specialist – Azure HPC
Karl is a Senior Specialist for High Performance Computing & Artificial Intelligence (HPC & AI) at Microsoft Azure. He is part of the Microsoft’s Global Black Belt Team, and works directly with Microsoft’s largest customers in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region (EMEA). Karl’s role includes working on customer-related POCs (Proof of Concept setups), pilots, demos, presentations, and content. He’s from Dublin, Ireland, and prior to joining Microsoft in 2016, spent 15+ years in technical roles, including Linux & HPC engineer, architect, trainer – and working in Oil & Gas, Financial, and Life Science domains.
Bhoomi Gadhia
Senior Product Marketing Manager
Bhoomi is a senior product marketing manager at NVIDIA, focused on NVIDIA Modulus, an AI framework for developing physics-informed machine learning neural network models. She has over 10 years of experience in computer-aided engineering applications, working in technical and product marketing roles at Hexagon MSC Software and Ansys. Bhoomi resides in California and holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
