Billing & Cost Management Enhancements
We are excited to announce several new enhancements to our billing and cost management features, designed to improve usability, performance, and data accessibility.
3-Year Look-Back Window for Billing Data
We now support a 3-year look-back window for billing data, allowing you to access and analyze historical billing information over an extended period.
Usability Improvements on the Billing Summary Page
We’ve made several improvements to the Billing Summary page to improve the user experience, including:
- Improved Date Picker: The date picker has been enhanced with a shorter window to reduce mouse travel and autofocus on the end date once the start date is selected.
- Faster Page Load Speeds: The billing summary page now loads any queried data in under 15 seconds, ensuring a smoother and more efficient user experience.
- Background CSV Downloads: Billing CSVs can now be downloaded in background tabs, allowing you to continue working without interruption.
API for CSV Downloads
Introducing a new API that allows you to download billing CSV files using token authentication, providing a secure and automated way to access your billing data. The API endpoints can be called at the following levels:
- Organization
- Workspace
- Member
- Project
These APIs allow customers to automate and scale Rescale usage reporting.
Deposit Consumption Report CSV
Customers can now download deposit-specific consumption reports from the Deposit pages. These reports detail deposit usage by Month, Workspace, User, and Charge type, giving you better insights into your deposit usage. The Deposit Consumption Report unlocks several use cases, including:
- Deposit consumption by charge type (compute, platform, storage, etc.) to identify usage trends.
- Monthly deposit consumption trends to understand renewal needs.
- Multi-workspace deposit consumption by workspace.
- Deposit consumption by users.
Deposit IDs for Easy Management
Deposit IDs are now exposed on the deposits page, along with deposit consumption notifications, to help you easily identify and manage your deposits.
