Enhanced Suspension Controls for Admins: Auto-Terminate & Monitor Workstations

Introducing advanced controls for administrators to manage suspended workstations more effectively, including auto-termination policies and monitoring tools.

We’re excited to announce new features for administrators to enhance cost control and oversight over suspended workstations.

What’s New:

  • Auto-Terminate Policy: Automatically terminate workstations suspended for more than a defined number of days, offering admins customizable control over resource lifespan. End users receive system alerts before any admin-defined termination action, ensuring transparency and communication.
  • Monitoring: Easily track suspended workstation usage via the Administrative Activity Page, enabling better resource management and decision-making. You can easily search and manually terminate suspended workstations, streamlining administration and cost management.

Getting Started:

  • Policies: Implement the policies within Workstation Administration > Policies > Workstation Settings
  • Monitoring: Navigate to Workspace Administration > Activity to search for suspended workstations and terminate them manually
