New Coretype Collections for Additional Workload Coverage

Rescale has added four new Coretype Collections to its growing catalog, continuing to broaden cost-performance optimized hardware options for customers.

What’s New

  • 4 additional Coretype Collections now available: Linden PlusZeolite PlusLilac Plus, and Lavender Plus
  • Coretypes in a collection match or exceed the performance of the entry coretype by providing better memory, storage, or networking at no added cost
  • Pricing is fixed upfront and remains constant regardless of actual coretype allocation
  • Linux On-demand Priority workloads are the only eligible candidates

Why It Matters

Coretype Collections simplify hardware selection by providing curated groups of compatible coretypes that deliver equal or better performance at comparable or reduced cost. With these additions, more customers can take advantage of optimized infrastructure without needing to manually evaluate individual coretype options.

How to Use

Select any “Plus” designated coretype during the Hardware setup phase when creating new jobs. Collections appear alongside standard coretypes and are clearly labeled. Users can inspect underlying coretypes for additional details.

Refer to the Coretype Collections product documentation for detailed instructions and the complete list of collections.
