Rescale Official Statement on SolarWinds Security Incident

Rescale does not currently use, has not used in the past, nor will we use in the future the SolarWinds Orion platform. Thus, Rescale systems are not affected by the SolarWinds hack.
By now you have likely heard about the SolarWinds Orion hack and the collateral damage across the industry as a result of that hack. We understand that there are serious concerns around this hack and whether or not Rescale has been affected. At this time, Rescale has no known negative impact, compromise or breach from the SolarWinds Orion Security Incident.
Rescale does use Pingdom, a SolarWinds acquisition, for external monitoring purposes, however it is not integrated into any Rescale systems. Rather, Pingdom visits publicly accessible endpoints to verify uptime. Rescale also uses the SolarWinds Papertrail logging product for our marketing website. Our marketing website is not connected to the Rescale Platform. Regardless, neither of these SolarWinds products are known to be affected.
