License Proxy

Many software on Rescale require licenses to run. Some ISVs provide options for on-demand licensing, while others provide some other type of short-term licensing. Even so, users of these software may choose to use their existing licenses to optimize their utilization.
Rescale offers two different modes to connect between on-premises license server and Rescale:

NOTE : Please note that the Company License Proxy interface under Company Admin has been recently changed. This will not affect the license settings that were previously configured on the license proxy page or affect any active jobs. Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions or issues.

Terminating the license proxy

We can terminate a license proxy by clicking on the Terminate button. Please note that terminating the license proxy might result in interrupting jobs that are running using the licenses on the license proxy. If you were to restart the license proxy later, please also note that the public IP would change when restarted, unless the CLP was initially configured with a static IP address, and in some cases you would need to allow the new public IP on your firewall to continue to use the proxy.
